Menus

A card written
each morning

We don't print a fixed menu. Dishes are set once the day's deliveries are in and the fire is lit, so the card you read at the table is the only accurate one. Below is the shape a dinner takes.

Cook finishing a dish at the pass

The shape of a dinner

  1. 01

    To begin

Bread from the wood oven, cured and pickled things from the larder, a first bite from the coals.

  2. 02

    From the fire

Whatever came in that morning, such as shellfish, whole fish, and vegetables cooked directly in embers.

  3. 03

    The centre

One large plate for the table, carved in the room and served with what grows alongside it.

  4. 04

    To finish

Fruit, cream, and something baked in the falling heat of the oven.

Dietary requirements

Tell us before you arrive and the kitchen will work around it.

Because the card changes daily we can't publish allergen information in advance. Include any allergies or restrictions in your reservation request and we'll confirm what we can do for that service. We can't guarantee an allergen-free kitchen.
